1. Measure the distance between the toilet bolt holes. It should be 5 1/2 in. to 7.5 1/2 in.
2. Measure the distance from the center of the toilet bolt holes to the toilet tank. The toilet will need a minimum of 1 1/2 in. of clearance.
3. Measure the distance from the toilet bolt holes to the from of the toilet bowl to see if you have a round or elongated toilet.
